Title Transfer Requirements
Seller's Checklist
- Original certificate of title
- Valid identification
- Current mileage
- Name and address of purchaser (if not present at time of transaction)
- Power of Attorney, Death Certificate, Short Certificate if applicable must be original documents
Buyer's Checklist
- Original certificate of title
- Valid identification with current address
- Current proof of insurance (if applicable)
- Applicable fees/sales tax - please contact our office for an approximate quote
- Vin#/GVWR verification for out of state purchases:
- Vehicle must be physically at our office
- MV-41 filled out by a licensed inspection mechanic
- Photograph of Vin# tag signed by inspection mechanic with license number
- Tracing of Vin# tag
