Title Transfer Requirements

Seller's Checklist

Original certificate of title
Valid identification
Current mileage
Name and address of purchaser (if not present at time of transaction)
Power of Attorney, Death Certificate, Short Certificate if applicable must be original documents

Buyer's Checklist

Original certificate of title
Valid identification with current address
Current proof of insurance (if applicable)
Applicable fees/sales tax - please contact our office for an approximate quote
Vin#/GVWR verification for out of state purchases:
- Vehicle must be physically at our office
- MV-41 filled out by a licensed inspection mechanic
- Photograph of Vin# tag signed by inspection mechanic with license number
- Tracing of Vin# tag
